Mission Statement

The Helix is a vibrant, student-run publication, where Biotechnology High School students are dedicated to bringing the latest news, opinions, and features to our school community. At an institution with heavy STEM rigor, we hope our newspaper provides a journalism-based outlet for Biotech's writing community where they have the opportunity to research, write, and edit articles that reflect the diverse perspectives of BTHS. A core part of the Arts & Entertainment Club (A&E), we seek to cultivate a creative and collaborative environment where students can learn from each other and explore their passion for writing, photography, and design.
